Brenda (Benjamin) Breed, 53, of Cincinnatus, peacefully entered Heaven at 2:33 am on Monday, January 16th at home surrounded by close loved ones. She was born April 12th, 1963 in Cortland, NY, to Walter Lewis Benjamin and Suzie (Benjamin) Brown. She married her high school sweetheart Douglas James Breed on July 19th, 2003. Surviving her are her husband Doulas Breed, daughter Lorie (Darnell) Bethel, son Jamie Breed, sisters Teresa Swayze, Debbie (Robert) Terry, brother Roger (Koreen) Benjamin, step sisters Connie (Larry) McFarland, Linda (Mick) Eccleston, Chris (Mike) Aiken, Jan (Rich) Sloane, and step brother Brian (Debbie) Houck. Also surviving her are her grandchildren Daryen and Navaria Bethel and many extended family and friends. She touched the lives of all that knew her and her smile always brightened any room. Her positive outlook on life was contagious and she will be greatly missed by many.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Willet Fire Station in Willet, NY, Saturday January 21st at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The American Cancer Society at 13 Beech St, Johnson City, NY 13790.
