JUDITH A. BROOKER
Judith A. Brooker, 66, of Norwich, passed away early Saturday morning, January 14, 2017, at the Residential Health Care Facility of Chenango Memoria Hospital.
Judy was born on March 14, 1950 in Norwich the daughter of Kenneth and Ava (Yeomans) Brooker. She spent her early years in Norwich and attended the Norwich schools. Over the years she has made her home in Rome, Richfield Springs and Downsville but for the past several years has made her home here in Norwich. While living in Richfield Springs she worked for a brief period of time for the local ARC.
Judy was a very happy and knowledgeable individual. She did not dislike anyone and always found the good in anyone she knew. She had the keen knack of remembering everyone’s birthday’s and enjoyed celebrating birthdays and the holidays.
Above all else Judy just loved being around family and friends.
Judy is survived by her siblings; Kenneth Brooker Jr. and wife Gladys of New Paltz, NY, Ronald Brooker and wife Emily of Sherburne, Jay Brooker, Shirley Whaley, and Shelvy Schraft and husband Ernest all of Norwich. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A PRIVATE funeral service for Judy will be held at the convenience of the family from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. Interment will be a t a later date in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
