DANIEL C. ELLIS
Daniel C. Ellis, 67, passed away on November 29, 2016 after a long illness. A resident of southern California for over thirty years, Dan was a graduate of Norwich High School and the son of Don and Minnie Ellis of Norwich. He attended Herkimer County Community College and Oneonta State University, and served in the Air Force in Texas and California. Dan owned and operated his own computer sales and consultation business for many years, and worked for a time in the radio and film industries. He was an avid reader, an accomplished photographer, an amateur pilot, and a classic car enthusiast and collector. He is survived by his sister, Cynthia Ellis Killian (John). A memorial service is planned for 11AM on Wednesday, January 18th at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, E. Main St., Norwich. Donations in Dan’s name are gratefully suggested for the benefit of The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, or for the public library of your choice.
