Morrisville, NY: December 13, 2016 at Crouse Community Center in Morrisville, NY. June was born December 27, 1921 to Charles and Lillian Short in Rochester, NY. She attended Benjamin Franklin HS. June Married Edward J. Latal in 1943 and together they raised four children. They were among the founders and were active members of The Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word in Rochester, NY. She was an excellent seamstress, and a loving caregiver to her daughter, Gail, and to her husband. To be near her family, she moved to the Norwich, NY area in 2008 where she resided at the Chenango Valley Home and Apartments.
June is survived by her daughter, Kathie (Bruce) Webster, of Smyrna, NY; sons, Alan of Watertown, NY and Keith (Tony Chimento) Latal of Pampano Beach, FL.; grandchildren, Michael Webster, Jeffrey Webster, Brent Efing, Rebecca Efing-Hunter, Connie Latal, Jennifer Latal, and Joshua Latal; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by brothers, Clifford and Charles; husband, Edward and daughter, Gail Efing.
