Roxanne “Roxy” Alexandra Shipman, 19 passed away tragically December 1st, 2016 from a gunshot wound at home.
She was born in Norwich, NY to Sherry and George Shipman, attended Norwich Central School and DCMO BOCES and graduated with her GED in 2015. Roxanne’s smiling face would greet you at Bill’s Diner as a hostess.
Roxanne greatly enjoyed being outdoors, surrounded by her family and friends. She was compassionate to animals and helping others, enjoying the country side and getting dirty. Roxy was a beautiful, kind hearted person who’s smile would light up any room. She was an amazing free spirited young lady who has affected so many lives with her beautiful soul. Gone but never forgotten!
Roxanne is survived by her parents Sherry and George Shipman, her siblings Jessica Shipman (Justin Fazio) and Timothy Shipman (Macie Lowe), her nieces who meant the world to her Jocelynn Shipman and Sophia Fazio, grandparents Michael Ray, Sr, Patricia Ray and Marlene Shipman along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Roxanne is predeceased by her grandfather George Shipman, Sr, Step Grandmother Laurie Ray, Uncles Timothy Carney and Kenneth Ray and Aunts Kristie Ray and Alicia Ray.
Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Thursday, December 8th from, 5-7 pm and again on Friday, Dec 9th 9-11 am with services to follow.
