Joanne F. Clark


HAMILTON: Joanne F. Clark, 75, of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, Nov 16, 2016 at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton surrounded by many of her family.
She was born September 13, 1941 in Buffalo, NY the eldest daughter of Frank and Vilma Kujda Owczarzak and was a graduate of Buffalo Catholic schools. On July 27, 1982, Joanne married Jerry K. Clark in McKinney, TX. She was as an amazing homemaker, wife and mother as anyone could possibly be. To help her daughter attend college she sold real estate part time.
Joanne was a communicant of St. Malachy's Church in Sherburne. Her compassion for others led her to be an active supporter of the Sherburne Food Pantry.
Surviving are her husband Jerry; her children, Julie and Jonathan Briggs of Sherburne; Gordon and Mary Klingenschmitt of Colorado Springs, CO; Steven and Shelley Clark of Los Angeles, CA; Nancy and James Turner of Buffalo, NY; and Noelle Reding of Dallas, TX; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Martin Coyne of Hamburg, NY; Julieann and Robert Holdaway of Elma, NY; brother and sister-in-law, David and Dottie Owczarzak of Matthews, NC; Sister-in-law Ruth Ann Hicks of Enid, OK; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Randy Briggs, Connor Clark, Kevin and Brian Turner; nieces, nephews and their families Karen Monge, Richie Krytus, Lauren Owczarzak, Marty Coyne and Laurie Lupica.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11am Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from St. Malachy's Church, East State St. Sherburne. The rosary will be recited at 10:30 am in church prior to the Mass.
Interment will be in St. Malachy's Cemetery at a later date.
There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Sherburne Food Pantry c/o St. Malachy's Church, PO Box 722, Sherburne, NY 13460.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St, Sherburne.
