Charlotte M. (Brown) Bronstein, 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Residential Healthcare Facility of Chenango Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 26, 1936 in Sherburne to Jay and Elizabeth Brown who predeceased her. Survivors include her sisters, Leila and William Lacoe, of Sherburne; Karen Butts, of Sherburne; Deborah and Merlin Eldred, of Greene; and Beverly and William Margeson, of Sidney; her brother, Al Brown, of Sherburne; and many nieces and nephews. Charlotte loved her family and spending time with them. She also enjoyed writing poems, craft making and other activities at the nursing home. Charlotte’s family will dearly miss her and cherish her memory. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 12, at R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 N. Broad St. Norwich, with Pastor Jeremy Stopford officiating. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery in Sherburne. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
