June P. (Sykora) Alton, 80 of Greene, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack, parents, Clement and Anna Sykora; brother, David Sykora and two grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Richard Alton, Jean and Mike Zilnik, Tina and Bill Grover, Ann Alton, Rusty and Tina Houghtaling, Norma and Ed Letterman; Grandchildren, Emily, Casey, Meaghan, Tiffany, Kristen, Justina, Derek, Toni, Manda and 13 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Barbara MacLaren, Doris Sykora, Ruthie and Steve Koerts, several nieces and nephews. June also had many extended family and friends at Village Greene Apartments where she lived for over 20 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Oxford. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sylvan Lawn Cemetery, Greene.
