Patricia A. Smith, 64, of Smithville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 12, 2016, at home after an extended illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Mason Smith and mother, Margaret Lindsey. She is survived by her son, Mason Smith; three sisters and brother-in-law, Margaret and Ken Jacobs, Barbara Morgan, Kathleen Williams and her fiancé James Ricci; 2 brothers, Raymond and Richard Lindsey; sister-in-law, Marilyn Warpus; many beloved nieces and nephews; many good friends including her steadfast and loyal friend, Jan Zindle. Patricia worked at B&D Pool and Spas for almost 30 years. She had a feisty spirit and enjoyed reading, cooking and being at home with her cats. Her closest friends and family will greatly miss her loving and generous spirit. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Hope Cemetery in Norwich.
