Jordan A. “JoJo” Crandall, 22, of Norwich passed away unexpectedly early Saturday morning, September 3, 2016, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
JoJo was born in Norwich on June 25, 1994 the son of Corey S. Jones and Kelly Ann Crandall. He grew up in Norwich where he attended the Norwich schools.
JoJo was without question an outgoing and loveable guy with a “crooked smile.” He was known as a wheeler dealer who worked as a self-employed auto mechanic. His passion in life was attending and participating in Demo Derbys. When he was participating his team was known as “Team Nasty” with his sign being diesel stacks which is the pinky and index finger raised.
JoJo was full of life, love and personality and will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
JoJo is survived by his mom Kelly Ann Crandall and step-dad Brad Shaver of Norwich, his brother Jordan Christophersen of Norwich, his maternal grandparents Donna and Buster (Ma and Pa) Crandall Sr. also of Norwich, Aunts and Uncles, Uncle B., Terry Crandall, Kim and Kurt Bradbury and Aunt Tammy along with several cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Kristen LaQuay, his dad Corey Jones and Uncle Jerry Crandall.
A funeral service for JoJo will be held on Monday, September 12, at 11:00 a.m. from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Brad Keator will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-7 p.m.
Following the funeral service there will be a gathering at the Plymouth Firehouse for a time of remembrance and sharing of stories of JoJo’s life. All are welcome to attend.
