Patrick Joseph (PJ) O’Neil, 56 of New Berlin passed away unexpectedly in his home on July 11, 2016. Born November 3, 1959, he is the son of Edward Robert and Dorothy Mae O’Neil. In 1977, PJ graduated from Stowe High School in Stowe, Vermont. He was an avid lover of skiing and was well known for his performance of acrobatics in the sport.
Patrick’s passion was spending time with his two labradors Gabe and Lakota. He enjoyed his recent trips to Hawaii and Yankees baseball games with older brother David.
Patrick is survived by his daughter Kayla Lovette, son in law Dan Davenport, grandchildren Brandon and Hailey all of New Berlin; brother William (Billy) O’Neil of Stowe, VT, Joseph O’Neil of Sparks, NV, Peter O’Neil of Binghamton, Jacqueline O’Neil-Fagan of Old Lyme, CT and several nieces and nephews. Patrick is predeceased by his father, Edward Robert and mother, Dorothy Mae; siblings David, Margaret, Michael, Fred and Patricia.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 30 Pleasant St, Norwich NY on Wednesday, September 14th at 11am. The Rev. Ralph Bove, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
