It goes without saying Lou was a family man especially when it came to his grandchildren. He was an avid supporter of Sherburne High School Football and never missed a game in which his grandsons, Ryan and Cody would play. He was also, without question, a JOHN DEERE MAN. His collection of antique tractors was spectacular and were his pride and joy. Over the years he and his family attended many tractor pulls and shows, some of which he participated in.
On January 28, 1967 in Morris he married Joan Pegg who survives. Besides his wife Joan of No. Norwich he is survived by his son Michael Marango and wife Peggy of Sherburne, Julie Binelli and husband Brian of Norwich, his sisters Mary Whaley of Norwich, Linda Pegg of Morris and his brothers Roger Marango of Norwich, Angelo Marango Jr. and wife Joann of No. Norwich and Gary Marango and wife Marilyn of Preston. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Lou was predeceased by his parents Angelo and Virginia.
