EARLVILLE: Janine R. Bohnert, 41, of Reese Rd., died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 11, 2016. Loving mother, daughter and wife that cared for everyone, who died of a broken heart after losing her daughter Abigail Elizabeth on 8/8/16. The family figures that Abby tripped in Heaven and needed her mom to patch her up.
She was born January 17, 1975 in Syracuse, a daughter of Elizabeth A. and Thomas P. Connelly. A homemaker that loved to bake, sew, and care for her cats (Dilly, Hemi, G-Man, Bora Bora, Smokey, Fluffy, and Midnight). Her proudest accomplishment was her children and family.
She was a graduate of Utica College of Syracuse University, dual majoring in Sociology and Anthropology.
Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Chad; loving son Austin of Earlville; parents Thomas and Elizabeth Connelly of Brewerton; in-laws John Bohnert of Earlville; Cindy Lou Jones of Hamilton; grandmother Marcia Riley of Monterey, CA; sister Dr. Jody Sima and Dr. Tamer Ahmed of Brewerton; brother Kyle and Meghan Connelly of Mineola, FL, sister Kathleen Connelly and Jeremy of Liverpool; aunt Mary and Steven Mau of Brewerton, NY, uncle Eugene Riley of Camillus, NY, Marcia and Taka of Kobe, Japan; adored greatly loved nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many aunts, uncles, cousins of Long Island, NY, Earlville, NY, Nashville, TN, and Maine. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Eugene C. Riley and a uncle, Mark J. Riley.
Funeral Services will be held at 10am Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville, followed by interment in the Poolville Cemetery, Poolville, NY.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 4-7pm Friday.
