MATTHEW S. PIKE
WILKES-BARRE, PENN. – Matthew S. Pike, 37, of Wilkes-Barre, Penn., died on Friday at Geisinger Wyoming Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, following an automobile accident that he had on June 1, on Route 81.
He worked for Boscov’s Department Stores for many years and Peeble Department Store.
Survived are his mother and step-dad, Anne and David Hamilton of Salisbury, Md.; father, Gayland Darling of Cortland, NY; and three half brothers. He is also survived by his aunts, Emily Goehner of Norwich, NY and Carol and Steve Knowles of Camillus, NY; grandfather, James Hamilton of Fla. He is also survived by his fiancé, David Hagenbaugh and his best friend, Angela Waldbauer, along with hundreds of friends.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Robert and June Goehner, who he had resided with years ago.

A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
