Thomas Eugene Hodge, age 71, passed away May 28, 2016 after a long illness, in Asheboro, North Carolina while in hospice at the Hospitality House.
He was born June 19, 1944 to Eugene Hodge and Florence Augusta Applegate, both deceased, in Chenango County, New York.
Thomas is survived by five children, Wade Thomas Hodge of Mount Uption, New York, Shannon Lee Hodge of Randleman, North Carolina, Wendy Miller of Brownsboro, Texas, Shaney Stevens of Guilford, New York, and Kelly Thomas Hodge of Norwich, New York.
He is predeceased by his wife Nancy Marie Price, his brother Timothy Hodge of Groton, New York, and step-brother Billy Nesbitt of Oxford, New York.
Thomas is also survived by his brother Dale Hodge of McDonough, New York, and ex-wife Mary Barrault of Chandler, Texas.
Thomas is a former employee of Greene Brass & Aluminum in Greene, New York where he worked nearly 30 years.
Thomas enjoyed hunting, working on vehicles, BBQ with family and friends, housework, and watching NASCAR.
He also had several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
