BRUCE WELSH
Bruce Patrick Welsh, 59, of Manlius died Friday May 20. Born in Norwich, NY Bruce graduated from Oxford Academy, the University of South Dakota and received his MBA from the University of Vermont. He was a retail developer.
Bruce was a loving husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law, uncle and friend. He lived with the purpose of bringing others together and brought life to the world around him. He will truly be missed by all who knew him and leaves behind memories of many happy times.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Cynthia Houghtaling Welsh; daughter, Courtney; son, Donovan; four sisters, Karen & Greg Lobdell of Oxford, Cecile Welsh of Albuquerque, NM, Teresa Welsh (Lee) of Oneonta and Evangeline & Tom Hart of Rome; two brothers, Terry & Donna Welsh of Stonington, CT and Mark Welsh of Philadelphia, PA; mother-in-law, Arlene Houghtaling of Binghamton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce & Sue Pero, Paul & Diane Phalen, David & Kim Mitchell and Kathleen Welsh; fifteen nieces and nephews, Alicia, Kayla, Andrew, Jaclyn, Jacob, Karly, Makenzie, Addison, Mackenzie, Abby, Scott, Becca, Jamel, Lynnea and Jayda; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and Jovie & Hazel.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leon and Marka Welsh and father-in-law, William Houghtaling.
A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, May 25 at 5:30 PM at Eastern Hills Bible Church, 8277 Cazenovia Rd., Manlius. A reception will follow at the Church.
