Ebenezer T. “eb” Jaquay, Jr.


RED LION, PA – Ebenezer T. “Eb” Jaquay, Jr., 57 of Windsor Townhip, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 at his residence.
A viewing from 10-11:30 a.m, followed by a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion.
A viewing will be held from 5-9 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 at Dakin Funeral Home, LP, 17 North Main Street, New Berlin, NY with services at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Columbus Community Church, NY-80, New Berlin, NY.
He was born May 29, 1958 in New Berlin NY, the son of Rosetta (Muller) Jaquay of Sherburne, NY and the late Ebenezer T. Talbot Sr. He was a 1977 graduate of New Berlin High School.
He is survived by his wife Lisa H Jaquay (Halbert) of Red Lion PA, of 37 years in marriage, his son Christopher T. Jaquay and wife Taryn Jaquay of Mechanicsburg PA, his son Daniel R Jaquay of Red Lion PA, his daughter Trisha M Wisen (Jaquay) and her husband Michael Wisen of Lewisberry PA. He is also survived by his grandsons Talbot M Reed-Jaquay of Red Lion PA, Kolby and Cash of Mechanicsburg PA, and soon to arrive grand-daughter Maggi Mae Wisen of Lewisberry PA. He is survived by his sister Brenda and husband William McNeiece IV of Southbury CT, his sister Diane and husband John Fisken of Oak Harbor WA, brother–in-law Jeffrey Halbert and partner Ronald Arigo of Aurora CO, brother-in-law Kim Halbert of Norwich NY and sister-in-law Jodi Smith (Halbert)of Norwich, NY. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Susan Atwell Ziedner.
His love of children was evident through his active involvement as a former President of the Red Lion High School Football Booster Club during both of his sons years of football. He participated with Red Lion Area Youth Football coaching staff, was involved with the Brogue Tee ball and baseball programs and was a member of Windsor Fish and Game. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan. He enjoyed camping, four wheeling, hunting, cook-outs and camp fires. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren and family, along with attending many extended family gatherings. He was not only just Pop Pop, but a father figure to his grandson Talbot while his father was getting his life together. He was a member of Columbus Community Church, Columbus, NY and River’s of Life Fellowship, York,PA.
He previously worked for Sherwood Medical in Sherburne NY, Key Plastics in Felton PA, Superior Plastics Emigsville PA, Collins & Aikman and Harbor City Plastics in MD. Most recently, he worked for the Red Lion Bus Company in the Red Lion Area School District as a bus driver. He was in the process of furthering his CDL to obtain a Class A license.
Eb will be remembered for his love of family and friends, his contagious smile, his caring warm heart, sense of humor, gift to gab and living life each day to its fullest.
