Stanley M. Walrod, Jr.


SHERBURNE – Stanley M. Walrod, Jr., 46, of Handsome Brook Ct., passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.
He was born January 28, 1970, in Norwich, NY, a son of Stanley M., Sr. and Margaret Lenning Walrod and was a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville High School. Stanley had worked on several area farms, most recently for Posson Farms in North Norwich. He loved fishing, hunting and playing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his fiancée, Cindy Rounds of Sherburne; his mother, Margaret (Paul) Young of Columbus; his children, Samantha (Eddie) Moon of Oneida; Dylan Walrod and Dakota Walrod, both of McGraw; Zane Christopher Walrod of OH; Lyric Pope of Sherburne; Jonathon (Hilary) Rounds of Brookfield; Shavonne Rounds of NC; Ashley Rounds of Sherburne and Mary Rounds (and her fiancé, Ryan) of Brookfield; grandchildren, Jesse James Rounds of Brookfield; Myah Jane Pierce of Sherburne; Cheyenne Star Rounds of NC; Phoenixx Andrew Ondrusek of Brookfield; Aeris June Moon of Oneida; Kristebelle Faith Rounds of Brookfield; a sister, Dawn (Osmer) Beadle of S. New Berlin; half-sister, Serena Young of Cassville; step-brothers, Paul Young, Jr. and Tommy Young, both of WV; step-sisters, Cindy Young and Pauline Young, both of WV; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Stanley Walrod, Sr.
Memorial services will be held at 4pm Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Interment is private at the convenience of his family.
