Gene S. Pratt, 90, of McDonough, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Norwich Rehab and Nursing Home.
She was predeceased by her husband, Maynard and son Larry Pratt. Gene is survived by her three children, Sharon and Philip Hofmann, Smithville, Warren and Christine Pratt, Irving, TX and Phillip and Marcia Pratt, Wellsville; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Gene graduated from Harpursville Central School Class of 1943. On July 2, 1943, she married Maynard in Tunnel. She worked at various manufacturing jobs after raising her children. Gene also enjoyed working at the Smithville Food Pantry.
A celebration of Gene’s life will be announced by Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, New York 13778 at a later date.
