Frances M. Natoli


Frances M. Natoli (née Fitch) passed away peacefully on March 10, 2016 in San Antonio, TX. She was 88.
Frances was born on March 30, 1927 in Colchester, NY to her parents, Floyd and Edith Fitch. She received her education in Guilford, NY. She married Thomas G. Natoli on May 19, 1951 and they were longtime residents of Oxford, NY. Frances worked at the Norwich Shoe Factory and Proctor & Gamble in Norwich, NY, retiring in 1992.
Frances loved her family, friends, and taking care of her house, especially gardening. She was a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Oxford, NY for over 50 years. She volunteered her time by serving on several church committees and functions. She also served as an elementary school room mother and Cub Scout den mother. After moving to San Antonio, TX in May 2011, Frances became a treasured resident at the Franklin Park of Sonterra Retirement Community and participated regularly in art and crafts, social gatherings, and weekly outings.
Frances is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Toni of San Antonio, TX, and Eric and Anita of Marlborough, MA; her sisters Joyce Hemstrought and Althea Tompkins; her grandchildren Erica (Natoli) Christianson, Kenneth and Matthew Natoli, and Val Inniss-Thompson; and great grandchildren Hailey and Hannah Christianson, and Remy Natoli. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; her brother Robert Fitch and sisters, Edna Doing, Mildred Atkinson, and Lillian Palmer.
Memorial services will be held in the Spring at St. Joseph’s cemetery where she will be reunited with her husband. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Oxford, NY.
