Anne Mussision Dale


SHERBURNE – Anne Mussision Dale, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 8, 2016.
Anne was born in Islem, PA on April 10, 1923 to Anna Butry and Mark Mussision. She married Jack S. Dale who predeceased her in 2007.
Anne graduated from Earlville Central School in 1942. After graduation she worked in Syracuse at the Sears Dept. Store jewelry department. Anne and Jack were married on July 29, 1942. They then moved to Baltimore, MD where Jack was stationed and she worked in Hutzlers Department Store jewelry department. After Jack was discharged from the Army Air Force, they decided to settle in So. Lebanon where they bought the Niles farm. They ran the farm for many years. After retirement, they decided to move to Sherburne. Anne loved to garden and took special care of the many flowers she planted around the house. She was also very active in her church, West Smyrna Baptist, where she helped with the building of the new church, taught many Sunday school classes over the years, helped with many church dinners, sang in the choir and decorated the church for Christmas for many years.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Dale (Sherburne); James Dale (Cheryl Sperduto) (Durhamville); Paul (Laurie) Dale (So. Lebanon); three grandchildren, Mistie Dale West (James), Brent Dale and Ashley Dale; two great-grandchildren Stevie and Rylie West; her sister, Eva Campbell (Crouse Community Center); sisters-in-law Patricia Dale (Sherburne), Charlene Dale (Syracuse) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her parents and in-laws Gladys and Lora Dale; brothers, Charles and Frank Mussision, sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Albert Parker, Kate and Daniel Sterle, Mary Jenne, Rose and Water Knasick, Creighton and Hazel Dale, Virginia Dale Bumpus, Alan Dale and Richard Dale.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Monday, February 15, 2016 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Georgetown.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday from 10am until Noon.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimers Association, or to the West Smyrna Baptist Church.
