MARION MOORE
BRISBEN – Marion was born on December 15, 1942 in Smithville Flats Center, N.Y. The Lord welcomed her home Monday, February 1, 2016. Predeceased by her parents William and Virginia McGowan, sister Lillian, brother William and husband, David Moore.
Marion is survived by her daughter Debbie (Brian) Huttleston. So William (Crystal) Moore, granddaughters Hilary Huttleston, Lacie Moore, grandsons Nathaniel (Stacey) Parks, Garrett Huttleston and Tyler Moore. Three step grandchildren Ryan, Jeremy and Lilly and one special niece Bridget (Murray) Beck, and two very special great granddaughters Kendra Parks (Sweet Pea) and Brook Beck, sister-in-laws Adele (Paul) Gidzinski, Nancy Moore, Gert McGowan; brother-in-laws Ben and Dan Moore, many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
Marion was a school bus driver for the Greene Central School District for more than 30 years. Marion had a love for baking, and was a 4-H leaders for many yeas, guiding and shaping young people through her love of horses. She could always be found at a horse shoe with a camera around her neck and a bottle for fly spray. She always put others before herself and made sure that everyone always had what they needed even if it left her with nothing.
A celebration of her life will on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at the Whitney Point Baptist Church. Calling hours will be from 10:30–11:30 a.m. immediately followed by a memorial service officiated by Pastor Ron Maslin.
