MYRNA J. DuMOND
Myrna J. DuMond, 80, of Oxford, NY passed away on January 5, 2016 at Chase Nursing Home in New Berlin, NY. She was born on May 12, 1935 in Oxford, NY. She was a daughter of the late Lee and Edna (Miles) Williams. On March 12, 1953 she married Walter DuMond, who passed away on April 29, 2003.
She is survived by her children, Deb and Joe Hurlburt, Robin and Chris DuMond, Jim DuMond, and Steven and Shelly DuMond, who all loved her dearly. She is also survived by grandchildren Chris (Lisa) Hurlburt, Todd (Danielle) Hurlburt, Jessup (Shannon) DuMond, Dustin DuMond, Derek DuMond, Jackie DuMond, Harlie (Xander) Holland, Jimmy DuMond, Leah DuMond and Cassie (David) Bailey. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and several sisters and brothers.
She enjoyed working at Keith Clark in Sidney NY for several years. She also enjoyed working on their family farm where she grew up. She loved dancing in the barn with her husband Walter. One of her favorite past times was raising the calves. She also loved to bowl and play cards with friends.
She was a kind and loving wife, Mother and Grandmother who always had her heart and home open to anyone who needed a helping hand, advice or just a lot of love.
Calling hours will be held at Behe Funeral Home, Oxford, NY on Friday, January 8th from 6 - 9 PM. A Memorial service will be held at Faith Bible Church, 45 Butler St, Oxford on Saturday, January 9th at 2 PM.
