LAWRENCE E. KNAPP
Lawrence E. Knapp, 75, of South Plymouth passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at his home.
Lawrence was born on April 25, 1940 in Norwich the son of Frank and Grace (Brazee) Knapp. His education years were from the school in Kirk. He was a longtime employee at Sheffield Products, where he “did it all.” In his leisure time Larry enjoyed his NASCAR racing, the NY Giants and watching Gunsmoke.
Lawrence is survived by his siblings; Velma Parker of West Palm Beach, FL, Cecile and Kenneth Fink of South Plymouth, Nancy Morris of Cincinnatus, Diana Wadsworth of Norwich, Daisy and Steven Larussa of Otego, Terry Donnelly of Norwich Tina and Robert Favorito of Norwich , Gene and Cynthia Knapp of New Berlin and Jerry and Marge Knapp of South New Berlin. Also surviving is his Aunt Wanda Gregory of Norwich, a dear sister-in-law Rose Knapp of Norwich along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his sister Cleo Taylor, Martha Knapp, Leila Knapp and brothers Stanley and Lyle Knapp brother in laws, David Wadsworth and Robert Taylor.
A funeral services for Lawrence will be held on Wednesday, December 23, at 11:00 am from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. Pastor Robert Decker will officiate. Interment will be in the South Plymouth Cemetery.
Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11.
