A. Jean Gast, 91, of Mariposa, passed away Friday at her home.
Surviving: her husband of 71 years, J. Arthur Gast of Mariposa; daughter Gloria (Dewey) Hakes of DeRuyter; sons Lynn of Hartwick and Douglas (Joan) of Stone Mountain, Georgia; sister Marjorie Reed, of Sun City, Arizona; as well as seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister , Virginia Whitmarsh.
The funeral service and calling hours date and times will be announced in the spring.
Smith Funeral Home, DeRuyter, has arrangements.
