GLENN ROBERT WILSON
NEW LISBON – Glenn Robert Wilson, 79, of New Lisbon passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. Glenn was born in Garrattsville, NY, the son of Robert and Grace (Brimmer) Wilson. He grew up on the family farm where he continued to work for a short time after graduation. He married Patricia Bush on August 4, 1973 in Norwich, NY. Glenn worked for Kraft for a short time and later retired from Proctor & Gamble Pharmaceuticals after more than 30 years. Glenn enjoyed woodworking, gardening, NASCAR and spending time with his family. He was a charter member of the Garrattsville Fire Dept. Glenn is survived by his wife Patricia; his son Chris (Kathy) Wilson of Oneonta; daughter Nichole (John) DeMott of Yardley, PA; grandchildren Jessica, Melissa, Lindsay, Hannah, Brad, Kyle and Kaley; His brothers and sister Roger, George and Diane Wilson and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 11 to 1PM on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Johnston Funeral Home of Morris, with a funeral service beginning at 1 PM with Pastor Becky Parry officiating and interment immediately following at the Hillington Cemetery in Morris. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Glenn’s name to the Garrattsville Fire Dept./ Emergency Squad, 4413 State Highway 51 Garrattsville, NY 13342.
