KENNETH J. FALLON SR
NEW BERLIN – Kenneth J. Fallon Sr., 86 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY passed away on September 24, 2015 at the NYS Veterans Home, Oxford, NY with his family present.
Ken was born on February 20, 1929 in Hauppauge, NY the son of James and Edna (McDonough) Fallon. His childhood was spent in Long Island NY where he attended Hauppauge School. On August 16, 1955 he married Jacquelyn Anita Mayo who predeceased him on June 25, 2009.
He was employed as a maintenance man and supervisor for the Town of Islip, NY and the MacArthur Airport of Ronkonkoma, NY. He was also employed by Miller Trailers of Oneonta, NY and Kraft Foods of South Edmeston.
Ken is survived by his children; Kenneth J. Fallon Jr. of Sherburne, NY, Daniel Fallon of Worchester, NY, Peggy Ryan of New Berlin, NY, Dennis Fallon of Rural Retreat, VA, Kathleen Schermerhorn of New Berlin, Patrick Fallon of Earlville and Timothy Fallon also of New Berlin, many grandchildren & great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters; Anna King of Patchogue, NY and Audrey Murphy of East Islip, NY as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 6:00 PM at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin, NY with Pastor Ken Fallon Jr. of Crossroads Community Church, Sherburne officiating. Calling hours will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
Arrangements are by the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin, NY.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the NYS Veterans Home of Oxford, NY.
