ROBERTA ANN BRENNAN WOODING
DUANESBURG, NY – Roberta Ann Brennan Wooding, Duanesburg, NY, was the youngest daughter of R. Mae Angle Brennan and Joseph W. Brennan of Mechanicville, NY. Roberta passed on September 11, 2015 after a valiant struggle with sarcoma. Roberta dedicated her life to her family: her sons Roarke, who pre-deceased her; Ross, and Royce, and her daughter, Rochelle.
Roberta attended SUNY Potsdam studying to become an elementary teacher. She married Richard Wooding on January 5, 1980. She was an award winning 4H instructor who taught many children. Roberta had an everlasting love for the outdoors; her passions included birdwatching, gardening, hiking, and camping. A perennial optimist with sunshine in her heart and the biggest hugs for those she loved, Roberta was deeply faithful with her God and this sustained her through several trials throughout her life.
Roberta leaves behind her children Ross, Rochelle, and Royce; her brother Dr. Brian Brennan, sister-in-law Mary Ann Luciano, and nephew Joseph Brennan of South New Berlin, NY; her sister Patricia and brother-in-law R. Dale Carawan, and nephew Christopher and niece Emmalie of Vandermere , NC, nephew P. Aaron and wife Christina, and daughters Cierrah and Brianna of Bayboro, NC; her mother-in-law Margaret Wooding, Colonie, NY, sister-in-law Maggie Wooding of Kirkland WA, brother-in-law David Wooding and wife Nancy of Clifton Park, NY, friends especially Debra Fish and Prudy Bombard, many cousins, and her Uncle Percy Angle of Rotterdam, NY.
Services for Roberta Brennan Wooding will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Community Fellowship Church, 3616 Currybush RD, Schenectady, NY.
