RONALD S. MILES JR
NORWICH – Ronald S. Miles, Jr. of Norwich passed away on August 6, 2015 at his home. He was born on June 20, 1954 in Norwich a son of Ronald S. Miles, Sr. and Gladys Moore Miles.
Ron grew up in Oxford and moved to Norwich, where he graduated from Norwich High School and BOCES in 1972. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and camper and enjoyed hiking with his friends. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 63 in Norwich. He moved to Florida in 1976 where he worked at Beefmaster Cattle Ranch and Lafayette Winery. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Leon County Food Co-Op. He was also an art dealer and collector and studied art history.
He is survived by his mother, Gladys Moore of Tallahassee, FL; his step-mother, Jan Miles of Norwich; his brothers, Kevin and Shelly Miles of Earlville, and Gregg and Trudy Huggins of Norwich; his sisters, Susan Livingston of Tallahassee, FL and Lisa and Marty Colabelli of Norwich. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
