Floyd “Pete” Wambold passed away, at his home in Homosassa, Florida on Monday, August 3, 2015. Pete left the world with the same attitude and fight with which he came into it, and was surrounded by his loved ones. Pete was a proud Navy veteran and patriot who retained a passion for the water his entire life. He was also a loyal friend, loving husband and father. He will be missed by many of us “dry-landers” now that he has sailed on.
Pete is survived by his wife, Moody; his faithful dog, Hubcap; his daughters, Lori and Wendi; step-children, Waneta, Trivia and James; brother, Myron; sisters, Lucy, Shirley and Kathy; and all of their spouses and children. He also leaves behind a very large crowd of friends and extended family here and across the country.
Arrangements for a celebration of his life are now pendings.
Rest easy now, Dad – we have the watch.
