DAVID SHATTUCK
MT. UPTON – David F. Shattuck, 62, of Mt. Upton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at his home.
Born in Norwich on December 26, 1952, Dave was the son of Willard and Alice (Cleveland) Shattuck. He graduated from Norwich High School with the Class of 1971. Although he became handicapped at a young age, Dave possessed a strong and beautiful mind. He was generous to a fault. He enjoyed computers and taught himself to program them. He also grew vegetables and flowers and had a very special place in his heart for all animals.
Dave is survived by his brother, Donald F. Shattuck, of Preston; his nephew, David C. Shattuck, of Norwich and two grand-nieces, Emily and Haley Shattuck, also of Norwich.
Funeral services for Dave will be private at a later date.
