HARTLEY H. FULLER
SMYRNA – Hartley H. Fuller, 90, of East Main St., passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Harding Nursing Home in Waterville.
He was born May 4, 1925 in Hamilton, a son of Herbert and Iva Duell Fuller. He attended Hamilton and Smyrna schools, and was a graduate of Sherburne High School. On June 6, 1953, Hartley married Joyce Ann Kunkle in Smyrna. She predeceased him on May 20, 2014. Hartley was a dairy farmer and also worked as a tool and die maker for T.A.C.O. in Sherburne until retiring.
Hartley was a member of the Smyrna Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and trustee. He was a member of the Smyrna Fire Department and had been the secretary for many years. He was also a member of the Smyrna Grange.
Surviving are his children, Roy and Laura Fuller of Norwich; Brad and Robin Fuller of Sayre, PA; Gene and Catherine Fuller of Smyrna; a sister, Edna Buddle of Sherburne; a brother, Jerry Fuller of AZ; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Fuller of Smyrna; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Aubrey Fuller and a sister, Mary Symonds.
A celebration of Hartley’s life will be held at 4pm Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Smyrna Baptist Church, Main St., Smyrna.
Interment is private at the convenience of his family in the West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne.
The family has requested no flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Smyrna Baptist Church or the Smyrna Fire Department.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
