EDWARD PYLINSKI
EDMESTON – Edward Pylinski, 88, of Edmeston died peacefully July 25, 2015 at the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford.
He was born June 2, 1927 in New Haven, Connecticut the son of Julian and Susanne ( Trzeciakiewicz) Pylinski. He married Joanne Tibbetts on February 29, 1948 at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Norwich.
Ed was a truck driver for 33 years for Cossitt Motor Express in Norwich, NY. He served in the United States Navy from 1944- 1947 aboard the USS Amsterdam. He was a member of the Wharton Valley American Legion Post #1311, the New Berlin Sportsman’s Club and the Riverbend Golf Club. Ed enjoyed fishing and hunting. Many of his woodworking talent (such as tables, plaques etc.) will be cherished for many a year to come.
His wife Joanne; his children and their spouses Keith & Barbara, Kevin & Diane, Kip & Regina, Kim Suez Pylinski; his grandchildren Patricia & Wade Schrag, Nickolas Pylinski, Phillip & Maria Hophan, Thomas & Janice Pylinski, and Ariel Pylinski; his sister Helen Mockovciak; several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survive Ed.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Julia, MaryAnn, Genevieve, Joseph, Peter, Walter, Sylvester, Albert, Mildred, Janina; and his granddaughter Catherine.
Services will be private.
