MARGARET R. McNULTY
SLINGERLANDS, NY – Margaret R. “Marge” McNulty, 88, of Mill Rose Court, formerly of North Norwich, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Albany Medical Center.
She was born March 10, 1927 in Easton, PA, one of seven children of Vasil and Theresa Pokojony Harobin and was a graduate of Wilson Borough High School in Easton. On June 9, 1945, Marge married Richard McNulty at St. Mary’s Church in Port Jervis, NY. He predeceased her on January 28, 2005. A longtime resident of the Sherburne/North Norwich area, she had been a secretary at Colgate University in Hamilton until her retirement.
Marge was a member of St. Malachy’s Church in Sherburne.
Surviving are her children, Sharon McNulty of Albany; Neil McNulty and Marie Desnoyers of Montreal; Patricia and James Cahill of Boston and Amherst, MA; Michael and Renee McNulty of Misawa, Japan; grandchildren, Erin McNulty of Cordoba, Spain; Andrew Cahill of Brooklyn, NY; and Jeffrey Cahill of Missoula, MT; one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Kathy McNulty.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from St. Malachy’s Church, East State St., Sherburne, followed by a reception at the church
Interment in the North Norwich Cemetery is private at the convenience of her family.
There are no calling hours.
