LILLIAN A. (SAGE) MOREY
SHERBURNE – Lillian A. (Sage) Morey, 92, of Sherburne, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015.
She was born April 27, 1922 in New Berlin, a daughter of Ralph and Ella Mae (Layman) Sage. On October 5, 1942, Lillian married Ralph C. Morey in Montrose, PA. He predeceased her on April 12, 1994. Lillian spent the last sixty three years living in Sherburne, raising her family and working as a sales clerk at local businesses. Her favorite past time was spent with her husband showing poultry. On October 30, 1999, Lillian was recognized by the American Poultry Association in Boston, MA for her years of service to the Poultry Fancy.
Surviving are her children: LeRoy and Lee Morey, Kathleen Rutan, Christine and James Nord III, Dale Morey, and stepson Lynn and Cindy Morey; twelve grandchildren, Michael (Gwen) Morey, Jason Morey, Kyle Rutan, Jenette Rutan, Jerrico (Lisa) Wright, Mandy (Andy) Nord Vill, Missy (Jay) Burns, James Nord IV, Katrina Llewellyn, Dale (Whitney) Morey, Jr., Ralph (Tami) Morey; twenty great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Karyl Sage. She was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Robert Sage and several nieces and nephews
There are no services.
Burial will be private in the spring.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne, under the direction of W. Patrick Jessop.
