AGNES E. MANWARREN
PLYMOUTH – Agnes E. Manwarren, 81, a life long resident of Plymouth, passed away Wednesday evening, February 11, 2015, in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Agnes was born in Plymouth on November 2,1933 the daughter of Howard and Beulah (Shadel) Brazee. She spent her entire life in the Plymouth area and attended school in Plymouth, No. Pharsalia and Oxford. On January 8, 1950 in Oxford she married Russell L. Manwarren who passed away January 24, 2000.
Agnes was a quiet, pleasant lady who always had a smile on her face. She was always putting her family first making their home a comfortable place to be. She was a longtime member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Norwich and was involved in many of the church activities. Over the years she had worked at Red-D-Pak, Jamesway and Grants.
Agnes is survived by her children Diana Franklin and husband Harold (Sonny) of Plymouth, Greg Manwarren of Beaver Meadow, Wayne Manwarren and wife Marie of Truxton, Marty Manwarren and wife Cindy of Norwich, Mike Manwarren of Beaver Meadow, Edie Lockwood of So. Otselic, Laurie Newbauer of Norwich, Kip Manwarren and wife Marni of Sherburne, and Todd Manwarren of Norwich. Also surviving are her sisters Beulah Parker of Norwich, Margaret Schoener and husband Jay of Mt. Upton, Joan Leach of Beaver Meadow and her brother Howard Brazee and wife Thelma of Beaver Meadow along with 42 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Besides her husband Russell, Agnes was predeceased by her sister June Youngs and brother Vance Brazee.
A funeral service for Agnes will be held on Wednesday, February 18, at noon from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
Interment will be at a later date in the South Side Cemetery of Plymouth.
