ROBERT G. WETHERBEE
SMYRNA – Robert G. Wetherbee, 73, of Smyrna, NY passed away on Sunday February 8, 2015 at the Chenango Memorial Hospital of Norwich, New York.
Robert was born on March 6, 1941, the son of George and Gertrude Gleisberg Wetherbee in Clinton Massachusetts where he spent most of his life working for the Buck Chair Company. In October of 1994 Robert married Dolores Burlingame in West Boylstone, Massachusetts. Anybody that knew Robert knew that if he wasn’t at work they would find him out in his garden, where he would work until it was pitch black out. Aside from his gardening Robert was a top notch candlepin bowler, enjoyed canoeing, and loved traveling
Robert is survived by his wife Dolores Wetherbee, his step-son Ray Miller III, three step-grandchildren Emma Schrader, Autumn Miller, and Nichole Miller, his sister Mariam Franklin, and his three nephews Scott Franklin, David Franklin, and Michael Franklin
At Robert’s request services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
