Gary E. Powell

GARY E. POWELL
NORWICH – Gary E. Powell, 74, of Norwich, NY passed away at Faxton-St. Luke’s Hospital of Utica on January 13, 2015.
Gary was the son of the late Earl and Mary Walker Powell. Those that knew him knew that although quiet Gary lived an active life of working, teaching his family, and serving his community. He spent many of his working years working at Victory Markets. As said the community was an important part of Gary’s life, which he so proudly showed by dedicating many years of service to the community as a volunteer fireman for the Maydole Hose Company.
Gary is survived by his wife Mary Powell, his children; Michael (Rebecca) Powell, Terri (Chris) Halom, and Brenda (James) Mucha, and his step-children Stacey Shepard and Timothy Danaher all of Norwich.
