DAVID ALLEN KINNEY
LEWISBURG, TN – David Allen Kinney, age 57 of Lewisburg TN, passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at his residence after a short, courageous battle with Leukemia with his loving wife Ivy by his side. Funeral services were held Dec. 5 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia TN with the Rv. John Rushing officiating. A burial followed in Polk Memorial Garden. David will always be remembered as an overall wonderful, kind hearted man who loved to fish and spend time with his family.
David is survived by his wife Ivy (Derryberry) Kinney of TN, his mother, Helen Cole, of Norwich NY, his father Silas Kinney of CO, children Adam (Regina) Kinney and Kimberly (David) Smithson, both of Columbia TN, and his stepsons Joseph Wales, John Hollis, and Chris Hollis, all of TN. He is also survived by his siblings Suzanne (Michael) Lowe, Barbara Byam & companion Daryl Crawford, Donna (Bill) Welsch, all of Norwich NY, his brother Ronald Kinney of TX, and James (Mindy) Cole also of Norwich, brothers Shad (Jenn) Kinney, Brad Kinney, and sister Cheryl Kinney all of Colorado. David is also survived by ten grandchildren, all of Columbia TN, whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Rosie.
