ANNA E. KINGSBURY
SHERBURNE – Anna E. Kingsbury, 90, of Shawler Brook Rd., passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Valley View Nursing Home in Norwich.
She was born June 28, 1924 in Sherburne, a daughter of William John and Georgia Edna Wilkinson Collins and was a graduate of Sherburne High School in 1942. On September 1, 1942, Anna married Gerald Kingsbury who predeceased her. She had worked at the Sherburne Knitting Mill, and then for T.A.C.O. in Sherburne for 40 years, where she was a group leader until her retirement. She was of the Episcopal faith.
Surviving are a sister, Eva Neal of Sherburne; brother and sister-in-law, John and Alta Collins of Sherburne; many nieces, nephews and cousins, including a special nephew and his wife, Gordon and Linda Reed. She was predeceased by a sister, Wilma Collins; and brothers, George, Charles, Lee and Kenneth Collins.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Interment will be in the West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1-2pm prior to the service.
