PATRICIA (RILEY) (EVERITT) POTTER
Patricia (Riley) (Everitt) Potter, 59, of Norwich went to be with her Lord on November 7, 2014.
Patricia was born on January 27, 1955, daughter to the late Richard and Helena (Cardner) Riley. She graduated from South New Berlin School in 1973. Patricia recently retired from Chenango County, where she worked for many years as an account clerk. On October 6, 2000, she married Marty Potter of Norwich.
Patricia is remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, niece and friend. She always went above and beyond when it came to helping others. She loved her children like no other and her grandchildren were the light of her life.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Marty Potter of Norwich, her daughters, Melissa Everitt of Utica and Lacey Burlison of Norwich, her step-children, James Potter and fiance Jamie,and Courtney Potter, her grandkids, Abby, Megan, Kayla, Lindsey, Ethan, Eli, Dominic and Trinity, siblings, Laurie Burdick and husband Roy, Colleen Riley and partner Dave, and Marc Riley and partner Bev, her nieces and nephews, Don, Craig, Wendy and husband Tom, Renie and husband Steve, and Joey, her aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews and a great-great nephew. And last but not least, her beloved dog and companion, Princess Ellie.
Patricia was predeceased by her sisters, Sandy Ryan and Judy Davis.
Friends called for Patricia"s family on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home in Norwich.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 6th at 4pm at the Canasawacta Valley Free Methodist Church (CV Free) on Rt. 23 West. Please join us for a short memorial with a potluck dinner to follow, all are welcome to come share their favorite dish in remembrance of Patricia.
