LEON E. FLOWERS
NEW BERLIN – Leon E. Flowers, 50, of State Highway 8, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at his home.
He was born January 6, 1964 in Norwich, a son of John J. and Joan Strauss Flowers and attended Sherburne-Earlville schools. Leon was a truck driver for various companies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool and shooting darts.
Surviving are his mother, Joan (Flowers) Stonebaker of SC; a daughter, Jennifer Flowers of Florence, SC; step-children, Jennifer Shoemaker and Michael Horne, both of SC; sisters, Ethel Snyder of Hubbardsville; Ann Flowers of SC; Robin Livingston of PA; Peggy (Mike) Mundwiler of NC; Susan Flowers of SC; Ronnie Jean (John) Willis of Sherburne; brother, Ray (Linda) Flowers of NC; sister-in-law, Anita Flowers of CA; grandchildren, Alexyss, Cameron and Anna Belle; step-grandchildren, Victoria and Matthew; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father in 1990 and his brother, Lester Flowers.
Services and interment were private at the convenience of his family.
Arrangements were entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
