RONALD C. HARVEY, JR.
SMYRNA – Ronald C. “Pip” Harvey, Jr., 53, of Stowell Rd., passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton.
He was born October 23, 1961 in Norwich, a son of Ronald C., Sr. and Betty Stowell Harvey and was a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville High School. Ronald worked for Baillie Lumber for 35 years where he was the current night shift manager. He was a loving father and grandfather whose family was the joy of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Surviving are his fiancée, Pamela Green; his father, Ronald C. Harvey, Sr. of Smyrna; three daughters and a son-in-law, Sarah and William Stackhouse; Maggie Harvey and Amanda Harvey, all of Smyrna; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Chad Harvey of Mt. Holly, NC; Matthew and Brandy Harvey, Jacob Harvey and his fiancée, Alisha Cooper, and Samuel Harvey, all of Smyrna; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Melvin Harvey, Vern and Melissa Harvey, Mark Harvey, Dale and Lillian Harvey, all of Smyrna; six grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Betty; grandmother, Zella Stowell-Campbell, and a sister-in-law, Candy Harvey.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Friday, December 5, 2014 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne followed by interment in the Willcox Cemetery, Smyrna;
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
