Claire Natalie Quattrocchi


NORWICH – Claire Natalie Quattrocchi, 90, of Norwich, passed away Tuesday evening, November 4, 2014, in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Claire was born on March 4, 1924 in Laurens, NY the daughter of George and Pauline (Sutton) Greene. On October 13, 1945 in South New Berlin she married Michael Quattrocchi who passed away July 2, 2003. She spent her entire adult life in Norwich and for 25 years has made her home on Plymouth Street. Claire was employed for many years by Norwich Eaton Pharmaceuticals from which she retired on May 31, 1983.
Claire was a down to earth individual who enjoyed the simple things in life. She appreciated the beauty of nature, working in her flower garden, enjoyed feeding and watching her birds and squirrels.
Claire is survived by her children Michael Quattrocchi and Kathleen Breed both of Norwich, her grandchildren David Breed of Canastota, Michael Breed and wife Nikki of Panama, FL and her great grandchildren Madeline Breed and Andrew Breed. Also survivng are her sister-in-laws Molly Gonzalez of Norwich and Nancy Hillsinger of Liverpool along with several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Michael, Claire was predeceased by her sisters Nordica Bradish, Joan Parker and Nancy Goff, her brothers Windfield, Sidney, Merwin, Keith, Willaim and Durwood Greene and her son-in-law David Breed.
PRIVATE family funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
