SHERBURNE – Dustin Kyle DePew, 25, of Steelville, MO, formerly of Sherburne, passed away on Monday August 11, 2014.
He was born November 29, 1988 in Cooperstown, NY, a son of Gary Linn DePew and the late Catherine Ellen Pope DePew. Following high school, he was employed as a tree trimmer. He loved to draw and fish, play video games, be with his friends and especially loved to spend time with his son.
Dustin is survived by his father, Gary DePew of Steelville, MO; his son, Michael Fields and Michael’s mother, Brandy Fields of O’Fallon, MO; his other mother, Dian Wyhs of St. Charles, MO; grandmother, Carol Pope of Earlville, NY; brother, Travis DePew of O’Fallon, MO; sister, Angela “Angie” (Carl) Westcott of Sherburne, NY; uncles, Leon (Barbara) DePew, Stanley (Ann) DePew, Duane (EJ) DePew, and Larry Pope; aunts, Martha Prewitt, Marie Johnson, Barbara (Rudy) Archideacana, Norma DePew, Marcia (Edward) Layton and Diane (Tom) Russell; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Catherine Pope DePew; grandparents, Paul and Genevieve DePew and Charles Pope; uncles, Arthur, Richard, John and Allen DePew, Carl Prewitt, and cousin, Sean Layton.
Memorial Services will be held at 11am Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne, followed by interment in the West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne.
