CHRISTINE JANET WAKEMAN
UNADILLA – Christine Janet Wakeman, age 54, of Unadilla, NY, died suddenly of a heart attack at her home on July 19, 2014.
She was born June 30, 1960 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Christine is predeceased by her parents Joseph Puzanskas and Sophie Puzanskas Lawless.
Christine is survived by her siblings: Lorraine Puzanskas of Unadilla, JoAnn Gallagher and Michael Puzanskas of Clearwater, Florida, and Barbara Puzanskas of Staunton, Virginia. In addition, she is survived by several nieces, nephews, and grandnieces.
Christine received her BA degree from The State University College at Oneonta, NY and worked as an accountant for several area companies and industries. Christine will be remembered for her strong work ethic, sharp sense of humor, creative cooking and baking skills and fondness for all canine friends. She was an active board member for the Delaware Valley Humane Society.
Christine's remains will be cremated. For those wishing to visit with her family, you are invited to do so at the home of Lorraine Puzanskas and Edward Steitz located at 931 Vandervort Hill Road, Unadilla on Saturday, July 26, 2014, between the hours of three and five in the afternoon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Delaware Valley Humane Society, 101 East Main Street, Sidney, New York 13838. Christine's family deeply recognizes and appreciates the support and love given to her by her caring friends.
Christine is at peace.
