DENNIS L. MILLER
KILMARNOCK, VA – Dennis passed away on January 18, 2014 in the Henrico Doctors' Hospital, Richmond Va.
Dennis was born January 18, 1953 to Paul and Louise Miller of Norwich, New York. He graduated from Otselic Valley Central School in 1971 and continued his education at SUNY Delhi and then transferred to Indiana State University.
Dennis spent many years in the restaurant business and catering. He loved cooking and often did so for family gatherings and entertained us with singing and guitar playing. Dennis was a very caring and loving person. He was most recently employed at Tides Restaurant in the Chesapeake Bay area. Dennis was a member of the Masonic Lodge and volunteered at the American Legion Post 401.
Surviving are his mother, Louise Miller of North Pitcher, NY; son, Brock Miller of Indiana; daughter in-law, Malinda of Indiana; granddaughters whom he adored, Adeline, Miranda and Natalie Miller; brother, David (Linda) Miller of North Pitcher, NY; sisters, Marilyn (Douglas) Quinney of Guilford, NY; Jacqueline (Robert) Wilcox of Norwich, NY; special friends, Nancy and the late Arthur Bowley of Warsaw, Va.
He was predeceased by his father, Paul Miller; sister, Barbara Kaiser and nephew Jeffery Miller.
A celebration of life will be held at the North Pitcher Church (date to be announced). In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the North Pitcher Community Heritage Society, P.O. Box 23, North Pitcher, NY 13124. This small community church influenced the lives of many people and children. Dennis had many childhood memories of the church and the religious camp.
