Ronald J. Mossman, 64, formerly of Norwich and most recently of Binghamton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 20, 2014 at his home in Binghamton.
Ron was born in Sidney on July 21, 1949 the son of William J. and Ervila (Pepper) (Christensen) Mossman. He attended the Norwich High School and graduated with the class of 1967. Soon after his graduation, Ron entered the United States Air Force serving his country from 1967 until his honorable discharge in 1971. Returning home he gained employment with Victory Markets and subsequently Webb and Sons as a truck driver. He moved to the Binghamton area in the late 1990’s.
Ron is survived by his brother Jeff Mossman and wife Laura of Frisco, TX, his nephew Kevin Mossman and wife Sharon of NC and his niece Penny Keegan and husband Aaron of AZ.
Besides his parents William and Ervila (Pepper), Ron was predeceased by his brother Willaim A. (Punk) Mossman.
Memorial services for Ron will be held on Friday evening, June 27, at 7 p.m. from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. David Kleinstuber, Methodist Clergy, will officiate. Interment will be in the Prospect Hill Cemetery of Sideny.
