Pamela J. Ginter, of the Town of Pittsfield, passed away on June 20, 2014 at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich. She was born on December 5, 1947, in Warfield, Kentucky, the daughter of Jack Chapin and Reba Mollette. She spent some of her earlier years in Ohio.
On June 11, 2008 she married John Ginter and they built a log cabin in the Town of Pittsfield where they have lived for the past six years. At one time, she worked for Verizon in Ohio and also assisted her father in the funeral business in New Mexico.
She is survived by her husband, John and two daughters, Erin and Denise, as well as one son, Charles Chapin. She has seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Pamela will take place on Tuesday, June 24, at 6:30 p.m. at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin with the Pastor Lyle Linder of the United Methodist Church officiating.
