MT. UPTON – Carl Warren Camp, 76, of Mt. Upton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006 at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich.
He was born in Mt. Upton on May 6, 1930, the son of Conrad Warren Camp and Ida Francis (Martin) Camp. He was married to Wilda Camp on Aug. 4, 1979 in the Chenango Forks Methodist Church. Wilda died Oct. 24, 2002. In Carl’s younger years he was a truck driver and throughout his life was an avid outdoorsman. Carl and Wilda took great pride in serving as caretaker and secretary/treasurer of the Butternuts (Copes Corners) Cemetery and its well maintained and neat appearance. He was a long time member of the Butternuts (Copes Corners) Cemetery Assn.
He is survived by his son, Calvin Camp and wife Stacey of New Berlin and his very special furry friend, Sara. 
He was predeceased by his sisters, Muriel Weidman, Joyce Latham and Edna Metcalf.
It was Carl’s request the no services or calling hours be held. He will be interred next to his wife Wilda in the Butternuts (Copes Corners) Cemetery on Monday and the interment will be private.
